As Entertech Istanbul Teknokent—jointly founded by Istanbul University and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa—we have been operating since 2012 as the “One Technopolis of Two Universities“.
Our goal is to enhance the international competitiveness of the national industry and support an export-oriented structure by offering high-quality office rental services to organizations engaged in R&D activities. We aim to generate technological knowledge, develop innovative products and production methods, improve product quality, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and commercialize technological knowledge.

Foundation of Entertech Istanbul Teknokent
Founded through the partnership of Istanbul University and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Entertech was established to strengthen university-industry collaboration and support technology-based entrepreneurship. - 2012
Main Building Opening
The 9,412 m² Entertech main building was inaugurated. - 2018
Opening of Blocks A and D
Block A (1,684 m²) and Block D (3,609 m²), hosting 90 companies in total, were opened. - 2019
Opening of Block B
Block B (1,086 m²), home to 96 companies, was opened. - 2020
Opening of Block C
Block C (2,676 m²), hosting 110 companies, was inaugurated. - 2020
Launch of Gamenter
“Gamenter,” the incubation center dedicated to game ventures by Entertech, began its operations. - 2023
Performance Ranking Success
According to the Technology Development Zones (TDZ) Performance Index, Entertech ranked 4th among all technoparks in Türkiye and 2nd in Istanbul. - 2023
Gamenter International Accelerator Program
2023 Gamenter International Accelerator Program With support from KOSGEB, the Gamenter Incubation Center launched an international accelerator program that enabled six Turkish gaming startups to access the global market in Germany. - 2024
Amsterdam Office Opening
The Amsterdam office was launched to support Turkish entrepreneurs in reaching global markets. - 2024
Strategic Cooperation with YTU Yıldız Technopark
A strategic cooperation protocol was signed with YTU Yıldız Technopark to help Turkish technology startups expand into international markets. - 2024
Entertech VCIF
In partnership with Yapı Kredi Portfolio Management Inc., the Entertech Venture Capital Investment Fund (VCIF) was established to invest in startups in gaming, health tech, fintech, and blue-green technologies. - 2025
Construction of Block E
The foundation of our 12,000 m² new building was laid with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır. - 2025
Go Office Transformation
In line with directives from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Entertech Incubation transformed into "Entertech Go," aligning under a unified corporate identity and vision as part of the National Technology Initiative.

We support tech-driven entrepreneurship and production, helping SMEs adapt to new technologies, contribute to the creation of a skilled workforce, facilitate technology transfer, and attract high-tech foreign investments to Türkiye.
Serving as a bridge between academia and industry, we assist in the commercialization of academic knowledge and the transformation of ideas into projects. Through the resulting commercial products and services, we aim to contribute to technological know-how on both national and international levels and support Türkiye’s economic and technological development.
In addition, we are helping Turkish entrepreneurs go global, integrating national technologies into international markets. Through Entertech VCIF, we support startups in finding investment and aim to strengthen the investment ecosystem in Türkiye. By specializing in focus areas such as creative technologies and holistic health technologies, we provide entrepreneurs with targeted support tailored to their specific needs.
