İstanbul Teknokent Joint Stock Company (“Teknokent”, “Entertech” or “Company”), in the capacity of data controller, pursuant to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”), published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016 and numbered 29677, and relevant legislation, requests your explicit consent regarding the processing of your personal data for the following matters, except for cases subject to exemption:
- Within the scope of the purpose that requires processing and in connection with, limited to, and proportionate to this purpose, as stated in the relevant provisions under the Law and Entertech Policies,
- By preserving its accuracy and most up-to-date form as reported to us or as disclosed,
- Your personal data will be recorded, stored, preserved, reorganized, shared with public institutions and organizations authorized to request such data as regulated in the Law, and, under the conditions stipulated by the Law, may be transferred, assigned, classified to Teknokent’s shareholders, business partners, suppliers, and/or third parties located domestically or abroad, and processed in other ways listed in the Law.
To provide better service to users and within the framework of legal obligations arising from the Law and related legislation, your personal data — including but not limited to: name, surname, date of birth, mobile phone number, email, gender, address, profession, education, marital status, user transaction information, information you approve to share through your social media accounts if connected, navigation and click information on the application, and location information where you access the application — may be requested and recorded in Teknokent’s mobile or web application.
- Opening a User account on Teknokent’s website, creating and updating a username,
- Conducting quality control and improving service quality,
- Informing users about improvements and newly developed services aimed at creating and/or increasing user satisfaction,
- Managing bulk electronic communications to users,
- Performing the basic functions required for the operation of Teknokent’s website,
- Analyzing Teknokent’s website to improve performance,
- Enhancing the functionality and ease of use of Teknokent’s website,
- Carrying out personalization, targeting, and advertising activities related to Teknokent’s website,
- Fulfilling obligations under contracts concluded,
- Processing personal data of contract parties when necessary for the establishment or performance of the contract directly related to the User,
- Fulfilling Teknokent’s legal obligations,
- Processing your data when necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right,
- Processing necessary for Teknokent’s legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
These will all be processed for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes under Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
