Entertech GSYF and PlayGate GSYF’s New Investment in the Game Technologies Sector: Game Actor

Operating in the field of game technologies, Game Actor has secured a total investment of $400,000, consisting of $300,000 from the Entertech First Venture Capital Investment Fund, established through the collaboration of Yapı Kredi Portfolio Management and Entertech Istanbul Technokent, and $100,000 from PlayGate GSYF. With this investment, Game Actor has officially joined the portfolio companies of Entertech GSYF and PlayGate GSYF.

The investment decision was made following an evaluation of Game Actor’s innovative technological approach, scalable business model, and potential for expansion into global markets.

A Social Media and Integration Hub for the Gaming Ecosystem

Game Actor was founded as a spin-off initiative, financed through consulting revenues, by three co-founders active in the field of enterprise software consultancy. Today, with a team of eight professionals who are also gamers themselves, Game Actor operates as a GameTech company positioned as a “Social Media and Integration Hub” for the gaming industry.

Developed by gamers, the platform provides a social space where players can share their game statistics, achievements, and memorable in-game moments, while simultaneously offering discoverable pages for game studios, devlog sharing, and promotional opportunities within a comprehensive ecosystem. In this way, players, developers, and industry stakeholders are brought together in a single, unified hub.

Integration-Focused Infrastructure and a New-Generation Advertising Approach

The Game Actor platform integrates seamlessly with game libraries such as Steam and Riot, enabling players to automatically display their performance metrics and achievements. While creating a centralized social space where players can express themselves, the platform also enables the generation of high-accuracy data for the broader gaming ecosystem.

The company is developing an innovative system through which players can gain access to new games by completing in-platform missions through gameplay. At the same time, by analyzing player data obtained via these integrations, Game Actor aims to produce actionable insights for the gaming industry. This structure allows brands to define and reach their target audiences more precisely, positioning Game Actor as a next-generation platform developing addressable advertising technologies for the gaming sector.

A Hub for Gamers, a Reference Point for the Gaming World

Game Actor continues to evolve with the vision of becoming a centralized platform where players can find gaming companions, socialize, and showcase their gaming achievements like a résumé. The founding team aims to create lasting value for the gaming ecosystem by bringing together, under a single roof, the features they themselves needed as gamers but could not find in the market.

Game Actor has also taken its first step toward global expansion by being selected as one of 13 technology startups within the Entertech London Market Expansion Programme, one of Entertech Istanbul Technokent’s international accelerator programs.
